2019/2020 EDGE Tryouts

  • All tryouts are at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex on rink #1
  • Skaters are expected to register for and attend all audition sessions for each level they wish to be considered
  • If you are unable to attend any scheduled auditions, please contact Skate Oakville Office (office@skateoakville.ca)
  • Skaters should come in black leggings, black athletic jackets or athletic tops (NO HOODIES) and hair in a bun
  • Pre-registration available HERE
  • Fees: $25 per Skater.  Skaters may register to audition for additional teams at no extra cost

INTERMEDIATE

Skaters must have reached the age of 13 but not have reached the age of 19 as of July 1, 2019 and working towards the completion of Junior and Senior Silver Dance, Skills and FreeSkate

  • Saturday April 6 12:20-1:50pm
  • Sunday April 7 8:40-9:50pm

 

NOVICE

Skaters must have reached the age of 10 but must not have reached the age of 15 as of July 1, 2019 and working towards completion of Junior and Senior Silver Dance, Skills and FreeSkate

  • Saturday April 6 12:20-1:50pm
  • Sunday April 7 7:20-8:30pm

 

PRE NOVICE

Skaters must have reached the age of 12 but must not have reached the age of 18 as of July 1, 2019 and working towards completion of STAR 5 Dance, Skills and FreeSkate

  • Saturday April 6 10:40-12:10pm
  • Sunday April 7 6:10-7:10pm

 

JUVENILE

Skaters must not have reached the age of 13 as of July 1, 2019 (there is a provision for some skaters to be under 15) and working towards completion Senior Bronze Dance, Skills and FreeSkate

  • Saturday April 6 10:40-12:10pm
  • Sunday April 7 5:00-6:00pm

 

PRE JUVENILE

Skaters must not have reached the age of 12 as of July 1, 2019 and working towards completion of STAR 5 tests (should be completed STAR 4 Dance, Skills and FreeSkate)

  • Saturday April 6 9:40-10:30am
  • Sunday April 7 4:00-4:50pm

 

ELEMENTARY

Skaters must not have reached the age of 15 as of July 1, 2019 and working towards completion of STAR 4 Dance, Skills and FreeSkate tests (should be completed STAR 2 and 3)

  • Saturday April 6 9:40-10:30am
  • Sunday April 7 3:00-3:50pm

 

BEGINNER II

Skaters must not have reached the age of 10 as of July 1, 2019 (there is a provision for some skaters to be under 12) and working towards the completion of STAR 2 and 3 Dance, Skills and FreeSkate tests

  • Saturday April 6 8:45-9:30am

 

BEGINNER I

Skaters must not have reached the age of 12 as of July 1, 2019 and should be passed CanSkate stage 5 by September 2019

  • Saturday April 6 8:00-8:45am
